Project

We were asked to redesign the subdued interiors of this country house to be better suited to the family’s need and match the architectural style of the building. It was also important to the owner to improve the acoustics of the large sun room.

Design solution

By covering the walls in heavy fabrics, using natural grass wallpapers and large rugs, we achieved to improve the acoustics significantly and create a cosy ambiance. Dark furniture, elaborately forged metals as well as velvet, silk and linen give the interiors a sophisticated look. The technical highlight is a mechanism developed by us, which elegantly lets the large flat screen disappear behind a painting.
